So today is my 5th wedding anniversary, and my husband’s gift to me is a couples blog. As far as anniversary gifts go, I have to say this is one of the more romantic ones, so despite my reservations, I have agreed to give it a try.

At this point I should mention that I am one of those “Computer Illiterate” people who only really knows how to send and receive e-mails, and update their facebook status. Whenever Todd starts spewing computer gobbledee-gook, my eyes glaze over, and drool cascades down onto my shirt as I go catatonic from lack of comprehension. Computers and I have a love/hate relationship. In fact, if I’m going to be honest, my feelings about computers are rooted strongly in hatred… However, as Nelson Mandela said “If you want to make peace with your enemy, you must work with your enemy.” Inspired by Mr. Mandela’s wise words, I have decided that my gift to Todd, as we celebrate another year together, is to learn how to use his! (Gift, that is.)

Happy anniversary to me! (Oh, and to my wife too!)

Tina and I’s 5th anniversary is fast-approaching. The big question is “What does a husband do for his better half to properly celebrate such a milestone?” Does he scatter rose petals all over the house only to immediately regret the mess he’s made? Does he attempt to prepare a masterpiece of a meal, burn down the kitchen and find himself dialing for a bucket o’ chicken? Does he purchase some risqué underpants in the hopes that she doesn’t burst out in immediate laughter at the sight of these leopard print puppies? Continue reading
